Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how GetFibermaxxing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the website https://www.getfibermaxxing.com and related features (the “Service”).
GetFibermaxxing is a free fiber intake estimator and fibermaxxing calculator. You can enter a meal description, receive approximate fiber and calorie estimates based on food databases (including USDA FoodData Central and curated staples), and optionally share results. No account signup is required to use the core calculator.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Interpretation and Definitions
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Company / GetFibermaxxing: The operator of the Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
- Website: GetFibermaxxing, accessible at https://www.getfibermaxxing.com.
- Service: The Website, calculator, guides, and related product features.
- Personal Data: Information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
- Usage Data: Data collected automatically from your use of the Service.
- Meal Log: Meal text and structured calculation results we may store to improve the product (see below).
- Device: Any device used to access the Service (computer, phone, tablet).
- You: The individual accessing or using the Service.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
1. Information you provide
When you use the calculator, you may enter:
- Meal descriptions and food text (natural language input)
- Optional profile-style choices used for targets (e.g., sex, age group, goal mode)
- Any feedback or email you voluntarily send us
We do not require name, email, or payment information to run a calculation.
2. Meal Logs (product improvement)
When meal logging is enabled, submitting a calculation may send a structured record to our servers (stored in cloud object storage), which can include:
- The meal text you entered
- Matched foods, portions, fiber/calorie totals, and reliability signals
- Page path, timestamps, a random client identifier, and optional campaign tags (e.g. UTM)
- A QA flag when you use designated self-test entry links
Meal text is stored for product quality (parser accuracy and reliability). Analytics tools we use for funnel metrics are configured so that meal text is not sent as a Google Analytics event parameter.
3. Usage Data and device storage
We and our infrastructure providers may process:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type
- Pages visited, referrers, and interaction events (e.g., calculate, share)
- Diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the Service
On your Device, we may use browser storage (such as localStorage) for:
- A random client identifier used to group anonymous sessions
- Optional QA / self-test flags you trigger via URL parameters
Tracking Technologies and Analytics
We use analytics tools (including Google Analytics 4) to understand how the Service is used—such as visits, calculator attempts, and result quality signals—so we can improve the product.
- Essential / functional storage: Needed for basic operation and preferences.
- Analytics: Helps us measure funnels and reliability (without meal text in GA events).
You can control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may limit analytics visibility but should not block core calculation.
How We Use Information
We may use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service
- Estimate fiber intake and display results
- Improve parsing quality, reliability, and user experience (including Meal Log review)
- Measure product performance and diagnose errors
- Respond to inquiries you send us
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your Personal Data.
Disclosure of Information
We may share information only as needed with:
- Service Providers that host or operate the Service (e.g., Cloudflare for hosting/edge compute and object storage; Google Analytics for measurement)
- Legal / safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and security
- Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to appropriate safeguards
Providers process data on our behalf under contractual or platform terms designed to protect it.
Data Retention
- Meal Logs are retained as long as reasonably needed for product improvement, security, and abuse prevention, unless we delete them earlier or you successfully request deletion of identifiable logs where feasible.
- Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider settings and our operational needs.
- Device-local storage remains until you clear site data in your browser.
Data Deletion and Your Choices
Because the Service is largely anonymous, we may not be able to locate every record without information you provide (for example, approximate time of use, page, or a log identifier from a support request).
You may:
- Clear cookies and site storage in your browser
- Use browser / OS controls to limit analytics tracking where available
- Contact us to request deletion of Meal Logs that we can reasonably identify

Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small web tool (HTTPS, access-controlled storage, least-privilege operations). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
International Data Transfers
The Service is operated using global cloud infrastructure. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers and applicable law.
Not Medical Advice
GetFibermaxxing provides approximate nutritional estimates for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical, dietary, or clinical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health decisions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
